The Storyline

In the year 2008 “seeking to restore the democracy” the potential enemy is secretly trying to make a lodgment at the Russian border. It turns out that this sector is covered by a sole combat effective military unit. Russian Government being under a large-scale war apprehension hopes to resolve the hostile situation by turning it into a diplomatic incident.

By the special order any reinforcement for the invaded area is denied. Sergeant Andreev, being in charge of the sole military unit in the area is instructed to “fight up to the last ditch”.
The gameplay

The game represents a horizontal shooter.
A combat vehicle moves about the former USSR territory staving off aircraft and meeting the threat in ground combats. The player has 20 men in the combat crew (hit points) and an energy shield, necessary to win the game.

There are three game modes:
Campaign – the storyline is being revealed, the protagonist receives tasks and passes through 9 game missions.
Single missions – the player can revive and relive the most exciting campaign episodes.
Survival – a nonstop endless battle with difficulty being at constant growth. This mode is available only after a considerable part of campaign has been accomplished.

“It’s been a while since we had a scroll-shooter in our column. And the excellent ones haven’t been seen for ages. And finally it has happened.
Technically the game is excellent. The first thing that thrills the soul is highly detailed machinery and the most beautiful backgrounds. The second is the complete (and really decent) soundtrack, which is yet to seek.”
